Is there anything better than a great story that transports the reader to another time and place?

Ever since I was a child books were my favorite escape and I still disappear into the stories, only now I’m the one writing them. I adore time travel adventure, gothic romance, and historical murder mysteries. In my series I often blend several different genres and even encourage my characters to cross over into other books where they meet their fictional counterparts. It’s not only super fun but also delights my readers and introduces them to series they haven’t yet had a chance to read.
